1.The use of vulgar or offensive language 

using offensive or vulgar words may offend other people who receive the message and therefore it is bad as it may cause quarrels between people (Career Addict, 2017). 

2.Typing in CAPS lock all the time

The use of capital letters when writing is considered to be shouting therefore, if you write someone something like an email or letter avoid using capital letters for a clear message (Digital Citizenship, 2020). 

3.Trolling

Trolling is the creation of discord on the Internet by starting quarrels by posting provoking messages online in order to upset people (Unlcms, 2018). 

4.Identity Theft

This is happens where a person steals another person's identifying information and use it for his/her own personal motives such as for fraudulent activities or any illegality. This is seen as a criminal offence (Criminal Defence Lawyer, 2020).  

5.Sharing of illegal materials

Sharing illegal materials online is a criminal offence for example sharing of pictures or videos that will infringe someone's right of privacy. This can be held against you by law (Digital Citizenship, 2020). 

6.Spamming

This is whereby someone sends unsolicited messages electronically in bulk or messages which were not requested for example as a form of email in bulk (SpamHaus, 2020). 

7.Using 'reply-all' for personal conversations

You do not have to use 'reply-all' when having a personal conversation with someone because not all people who are on the same server or those whom you have their emails need to reply (Digital Citizenship, 2020).

8.Expecting an immediate response

Do not expect a response immediately after sending an email or text because the recipient may be busy or may be offline therefore do not ping them or send more emails or texts as it could be annoying for them (Digital Citizenship, 2020). 

9.Flooding on an email or text

Flooding is writing an email or text which is very long and includes unnecessary stuff. This may be tedious for the reader and the reader may end up not reading the text or email (Digital Citizenship, 2020). 

10. Plagiarizing people's content

This is using someone's content for your own writing without referencing their work. This is illegal as some of the content has copyrights and the culprit may be sued for this (beabettercitizen, 2020) .
